Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit 2024 held in Beijing
On the morning of September 6, Tanzanian President Hassan, who came to China to attend the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), met with Li Guoqiang, Chairman of Weihua Group, Zhen Mingming, CEO of Weihua Group, and Wang Xi, Vice President of Weihua International, and their entourage, and exchanged views on the layout of Weihua's development in Tanzania and the cooperation of the project.

During the meeting, Li introduced to President Hassan in detail Weihua's industrial layout, R&D strength and key projects in Tanzania.
Li said that led by the strategic consensus reached between President Xi Jinping and President Hassan, China-Tanzania cooperation has been fruitful and has become a good model for China and Africa to realize common development. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Tanzania, we are eagerly looking forward to bringing Weihua's core products, rich experience and cutting-edge technologies to Tanzania to support the prosperity and development of Tanzania, and to continue to add bricks and mortar to China-Tanzania cooperation.
President Hassan warmly welcomed Weihua Group's active participation in the construction and development of Tanzania. He hoped that under the consensus of “building an all-weather China-Africa community of destiny in the new era”, the two sides would start in-depth cooperation in many fields in the future, and continue to write a new chapter for the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
At the meeting, the heads of Tanzanian ministries and commissions responded one by one on the cooperation of relevant business sectors, and the two sides agreed to start further working communication as soon as possible.
